Our Philosophy
At PMI, we realize that our customer relationships will only be as strong as our own corporate philosophy. To that end, we have built our business around three core beliefs - safety, quality and integrity.

Safety Minded
At PMI, being safety minded means working to protect our employees and customers. Not only does our commitment to safety lead to a healthier, more productive workforce, it also reduces our clients exposure to risk. We take safety seriously, employing a full-time safety manager who oversees our safety policies, procedures, education and implementation. PMI recognizes the safety measures put forth by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), our HR/Safety Manager and each individual facility. This means working closely with our customers to ensure that each individual facility's safety standards are met along with PMI's.
PMI's HR/Safety Manager continually works to educate crew members and makes frequent site visits to ensure the highest safety standards are being met. This responsible approach to safety has won PMI many safety awards from the Associated Builders and Contractors over the years. Recently the Grain Elevator and Processing Society (GEAPS) recognized PMI at their annual international conference with a GEAPS Safety Award for completed 30,648 work hours without a lost time injury or illness. We continued the trend after winning the award and today that number has climbed to 40,000 accident-free work hours.
Devoted to Quality
Guaranteeing each customer the highest quality product every time is another way PMI builds and maintains trusting business relationships. When you contract work with PMI, you know the project will be done accurately, with the best parts and in a timely fashion. PMI completes projects with minimal downtime by utilizing their in-house drafting team and fabricating parts off-site. This means our customers save money and the finished product fits and works well with the existing equipment.
PMI quality means that customers benefit from the experience of our staff and crews as well as the long-standing relationships we have with our suppliers. It also means that a job is not completed until the customer is satisfied. We believe in a job done right the first time, but if there are any remaining questions or problems after finishing a job, the experienced PMI crew will return to make things right. We invite you to review samples of our work and see our brand of quality firsthand in your facility by hiring PMI.
Integrity Driven
PMI considers trust a pillar of any business relationship. That is why we understand how important it is for our customers to trust us. After all, their job or facility future may be on the line. No one wants to sign responsibility for the well being of their company over to an amateur. At PMI, though, we have been building trust-based relationships with customers and suppliers alike for over 25 years. We were founded, and continue to rely, on traditional values where you take someone's word and create a friendship with a handshake.
Take the bid process, for example, Some companies will bid low and then gouge clients with change order after change order. At PMI we believe in submitting a bid price that is as close to the actual cost as possible, so there are no surprises for our customers. To operate any other way would jeopardize our integrity and the partnerships we have built. PMI submits accurate bids because a bid price is only reached after a site visit has been done for pictures and measurement, the project scope has been discussed with the customer, a project plan has been drafted in house and part estimates have been requested from suppliers we know and trust.
These are just a few examples of how PMI is "integrity driven," as our client you will discover others.
