Gary Sondgeroth
President

Gary started in the industry working summers during high school as a construction laborer for Todd & Sargent Inc. Following graduation, he went to work full time at Todd & Sargent. Gary transferred to PMI in 1979 to manage the millwright service division and was promoted to Vice President in 1996. On January 1, 2001, Gary entered into a formal agreement to purchase the PMI Iowa Division from the Sargent Group.
Experience
- As an active member of the Grain Elevator and Processing Society (GEAPS), Gary has held leadership roles and volunteered his time to numerous GEAPS committees and groups.
- Gary is a graduate of the Iowa Association of Business and Industry Leadership Class of 1995-1996. This program fosters a better understanding of the social, economic and governmental issues facing Iowans. As a graduate of Leadership Iowa, Gary continues to be actively involved in this leadership initiative.
- Keenly interested in helping young people plan for their future, Gary became involved in a School to Work Program in the local school district and was elected Chairperson of their School to Work Committee.
- Gary is also a former Cub Scout and Boy Scout leader. He currently has an active role in his church and local party politics.
