More Than 40 Years Of Experience
PMI has a long history of providing uniquely valuable services to the bulk material handling, processing and agricultural industries. The superior performance and appearance of PMI projects are the result of more than 26 years of millwrighting experience and 17 years of welding, fabrication, and industrial maintenance.
1975
PMI was born as an internal division of Todd & Sargent Construction Company focusing on man lift service and installation, later expanding to include millwright services. For over twenty-five years the PMI division excelled in executing large millwright projects and belted manlift replacements on a nationwide basis with Gary Sondgeroth in key roles.
2001 – 2005
PMI Iowa LLC was spun out as an independent entity and acquired by Gary Sondgeroth, along with several key personnel that remain with PMI to this day.
2007
PMI relocated operations from its previous 100x100ft building on ½ acre to its current location including 5 acres with dedicated office and shop buildings.
2008
PMI began pursuit of its unique modular prefab lift tower solution with a prototype system, built outside on custom jig.
2008 – Present
PMI has invested, innovated, and iterated to perfect its modular prefab lift tower solution while continuing to provide both millwright and lift elevator service and installation projects.
2017
PMI is very proud to have been selected by Miller Coors Company to replace multiple dozen belted man lifts with SPPE cage lifts at the brewery complex in Golden, CO.
